NoRights Productions is the blanket name for projects by Ben Thompson. This includes webcomics, comic books, graphic novels, animations, music, and other creative endeavors. NRP was created for a variety of reasons, one of them being there are too many danged graphic artists named Ben Thompson for most folks to pick me out of a lineup.
Ben Thompson: Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Art with a minor in Studio Art from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio 2005. Has a love for old school cartoons, absurd and witty humor, and a taste for the finer things in life.
Towniescomics.com was my first webcomic. It started in 2002 as your typical college gag strip (considering I was in college at the time) and evolved to include stories about demons, Saddam Hussein, the Grim Reaper, and vampires.
Grim & Saddam was my second webcomic and a spinoff from Towniescomics.com – something of a return to random gags once my main strip became burdened down with continuity. The Grim Reaper and Saddam Hussein are room mates who hate each other.
Both of these comics are currently on hiatus awaiting relaunch. Towniescomics.com will probably have a proper retcon as a completely new series while Grim & Saddam will mostly just have a new season.
2071 is my latest webcomic serial. An alternate reality retro-future space opera epic, it updates 5 days a week.
